Småbruk Sennesvika reimagines a typical post-war Norwegian home for a young family. The design involves adding a new volume that replicates the footprint of the original building while shifting its position diagonally. This approach creates a dynamic interplay between old and new, unified by a continuous saddle roofline. While sharing a common roof, the original structure and the extension are differentiated through distinct materials and textures, fostering an engaging dialogue between past and present.
